The digital trader directory (directory) is live on the interactive map. Search for local businesses located along or within a 300-metre radius of the Gold Coast Highway, between Broadbeach South station and Burleigh Heads.
The directory features information about renowned cafes, restaurants, shops and services who are all open for business during Stage 3 works.
You can find details about promotions, deals and offers, and direct links to their websites and social media pages for more.

Together, let’s support local businesses Gold Coast. Keep shopping, eating, drinking and staying along the light rail alignment throughout works and beyond. Businesses located from Broadbeach south to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast Highway need your support while Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 works are underway. Even when work is occurring right outside a business, the shopfront looks different, and there is traffic and parking changes, don’t let that stop you from going through the front door.
Love Your Local will run until construction is complete. There will be a range of advertisements, pop-up events and activations, shop local competitions and more.

Keep Burleigh Buzzing and Miami Moving
Stage 3 construction has temporarily reduced the Gold Coast Highway to one lane in each direction through Miami and Burleigh Heads until April 2026. To support the businesses and community, we’re relaunching our voucher campaign, helping the community stay connected and encouraging customers to keep shopping local and we’d love to have you involved!
Weekly Voucher Drops
$50 vouchers will be delivered to homes each week across Miami and Burleigh Heads for 13 weeks starting end of Jan 2026. These vouchers are your invitation to explore and support local businesses, in recognition of the impacts of Stage 3 construction.
Where can you use your voucher?
Participating businesses are listed on the back of each individual voucher.
Each voucher is valid for two weeks
Limited numbers of vouchers will be dropped each week
A different area from Dawn Parade Miami to George Street East, Burleigh Heads will be targeted each week to ensure those living along the Stage 3 alignment have the chance to participate
Limited to one voucher per household.
This initiative recognises the impact of construction on residents and business operators, as works ramp up in the southern part of the Stage 3 alignment.
Shop Local and Win - Competition Closed
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Shop Local and Win campaign! The competition officially closed on 30 September 2025.
Throughout the campaign, we proudly supported more than 100 businesses, invested over $78,000 in vouchers, and celebrated over 300 lucky winners!
Your support helped small businesses along the Stage 3 alignment, from Broadbeach south to Burleigh Heads.
What was Shop Local and Win?
This initiative encouraged Gold Coast residents and visitors to spend locally, with monthly prize draws for those who spent $10 or more at participating businesses. Vouchers were pre-purchased from local businesses to support their growth and visibility
